Who am I?

My name is Shriya Srivastava, and I’m originally from India. I’m currently pursuing my PhD at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, where my research focuses on understanding a key biological protein that is deeply affected by aging. Since this protein plays a critical role in many age-related diseases, I am working to characterize it in the hope of uncovering insights that could one day help us intervene in the aging process and prevent such diseases from taking hold.

I started this blog as part of my journey to become a better writer and communicator, not only to strengthen my career, but also to step outside of my comfort zone and build confidence in sharing my thoughts and ideas.

I believe that everyone’s experiences-whether good or bad carry value. By sharing them, we help each other navigate the challenges of life, find joy in small victories, and process our struggles in ways that nourish the soul. Through this space, I hope to share some of my own experiences, connect with others who may resonate with them, and learn more about myself along the way.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you find something here that is meaningful, interesting, or at least sparks a thought.

Take care, and see you soon!
